.The Hardin Visitor Information Center and the Big Horn County Historical Museum is located twelve miles west on Interstate 90 from the Battle of the Little Big Horn National Park. The museum focuses on Native American and Early Frontier settlement. It has fourteen buildings of early history.
The Information Center is an official Montana State Visitor Center.
Directions: The State Visitor Center is located in the Big Horn County Historical Museum off Interstate 90 at Third Street Exit 497. Another way to the museum is at Exit 495, which will go through downtown Hardin, turn left at the stop light. The museum site is located 1 mile east of Hardin, which is in south central Montana near Billings
